My name is Courtney Townley and I too have been frustrated, exhausted and confused by what it really took to get and STAY healthy. I have been a fitness trainer for nearly 20 years, and for the first 10 years of my career I only addressed health through movement. My approach was simply…if you aren’t getting the results you want…do more…go harder.
BUT I WAS DEAD WRONG.
The problem was…the going harder approach (you know the one…eat less, exercise more) left me broken and depressed. I looked fit and healthy, but what was really happening on the inside was not good: poor digestion, joint pain, irritability and constant fatigue were daily battles I fought.
I was not healthy.
It wasn’t until I hired a health coach back in 2004, that I really started to understand the extent of the health equation. A “can do” mindset, dense nutrition, smart exercise, adequate hydration, plentiful recovery…it ALL matters.
The body simply responds to chemical messaging. Change the message consistently and get a different response consistently! Today I have a remarkably rewarding job helping women all over North America re-write their health story.

No. I don’t believe in food plans. I believe in education. Food plans are what diets do…this is NOT a diet. This is you getting crystal clear on what is in the food you are eating, how it affecting your biology and making the BEST decision for YOUR body based on that insight. I will give you food lists, recipes and many resources for making healthy choices.
Absolutely not. The workouts are designed to do just about anywhere and use minimal equipment. That being said, some people find they are more committed to their workout when they do go to a dedicated place to do it…like a gym. But, ultimately, it is a personal preference and all of the workout material in the first three months, Calibrate, can be done in your home if you are willing to purchase some basic equipment.
That depends. Personally, I thought for years that I was healthy and fit because of how I looked, but how I felt was something different altogether. If you workout a lot but you are feeling less than stellar…then, yes, this program is for you. If you feel amazing, love your life and have the energy to do everything you love and more…then no, you this is not for you!
It really depends on where you are starting, but if you are serious about jumping in with both feet, you will have to create time to prepare healthy foods, move your body, get enough rest etc. For some that will look like an hour, for others (who may be a little further off the path of health) it may look like a few hours. But, please…keep this in mind…I am a HUGE advocate of progression. I will not be asking you to make massive changes overnight because I know it doesn’t work for long-term change.
This is not a diet. This is not a detox. This is not a bootcamp. This is not a quick fix. This is a process that educates you about how your biology responds to different stressors (food, exercise, sleep, recovery etc) and using that knowledge to create a roadmap that gets you to a place of sublime health, in a sane and sustainable way.
