Health is really an exercise in mending the relationship you have with yourself.
I often hear the phrase, “I’ve tried everything and nothing works”, but what I really hear in that is, “I have tried lots of diet and exercise programs that worked for someone else, but not for me.”
Well… you aren’t someone else, you are YOU.
And the longer I work in the health and wellness space (going on 25 years 😳) the more convinced I am that health is really an exercise in mending the relationship you have with yourself.
How does one forge a healthy relationship with themselves?
✅Spend time with yourself to get to know yourself.
✅Listen to the needs of your mind, body, and soul rather than talking over them all of the time.
✅Get radically honest about what you do and WHY you do the things you do.
✅Learn to trust yourself to follow through on the promises you make to yourself.
✅Show up for yourself on the regular, not just when the mood strikes.
Sounds simple enough, right? And yet we all know simple is not always easy, especially when you have a lot of practice not being all that nice to yourself:)
