Grace & Grit
Base Camp: Back to Basics
Challenge
Rebuild the daily habits that support your health, energy & vitality.
September has always felt like a fresh start.
After the looseness of summer, there's something about this time of year that invites us to come home to ourselves. To reestablish some structure. To take an honest look at how we're feeling and ask:
What do I need to feel stronger, healthier, and more alive in the months ahead?
If your answer involves some elaborate new health protocol, Base Camp probably isn't for you.
Because we're going in the opposite direction.
We're going back to basics.
This month-long challenge is only $49! We begin September 8, 2026.
The basics aren't sexy, but they work.
I've spent more than two decades working in the health and wellness industry. I've interviewed countless health experts on my podcast, studied a wide range of approaches, and coached women through the very real challenges of taking better care of themselves in midlife.
And you know what we keep coming back to?
The basics.
Sleep.
Hydration.
Real food.
Movement.
Managing your mind.
I've historically called these the #five2thrive because they create the foundation upon which so much of our health and vitality is built.
They're not trendy.
They're not complicated.
And you probably don't need anyone to convince you that they matter.
But knowing what supports your health and consistently honoring that knowledge are two very different things.
That's where Base Camp comes in.
This isn't just a health challenge.
It's a practice in self-leadership.
My coaching has never been about handing women a rigid prescription and telling them to follow it.
It's about helping women develop greater agency over their own process.
Because your life is not my life.
Your body is not my body.
Your responsibilities, resources, preferences, limitations, and priorities are uniquely yours.
So inside Base Camp, I'm not going to tell you exactly how much water to drink, what time you need to go to bed, what foods you should eat, or what your exercise routine should look like.
I'm going to help you determine what taking better care of yourself looks like for you, in this season of your life.
You'll assess where you are.
You'll decide where you want to place your attention.
You'll create specific commitments around the foundational practices that matter most.
And then we'll spend the month practicing something far more powerful than following someone else's plan:
Learning how to honor your own.
That is self-leadership.
Why September?
Because September offers a natural opportunity to realign.
Summer tends to disrupt routines. Schedules change.
Vacations happen. Kids are home. We stay up later. We eat differently. Our normal rhythms loosen.
None of that needs to be labeled good or bad.
But as we move into fall, we have an opportunity to ask:
How do I want to feel heading into the final months of this year?
And perhaps even more importantly:
What am I willing to do consistently to support that?
You don't need to overhaul your life this September.
You don't need more rules.
You don't need to become a different person.
You need a strong foundation.
And that's exactly what we're going to build.
Here's what we'll do together:
-
The Base Camp Masterclass
We'll unpack the five foundational elements of #five2thrive, why they matter, and how to determine what each one needs to look like for you.
We'll also talk about the deeper work underneath behavior change: making decisions, navigating resistance, anticipating obstacles, and creating commitments you can actually honor.
Masterclass is on Tuesday, September 8, 2026 12-1 PM MT. A replay will be available if you can not make it live.
-
The Base Camp Accountability Challenge
Knowing isn't the same as doing.
You'll choose your personal commitments and then practice them in real life with the support and accountability of our Facebook community.
The goal isn't perfection.
The goal is to become more aware of how you lead yourself when life inevitably gets inconvenient.
The Accountability Challenge happens inside our Facebook Group, September 14 - October 4, 2026.
-
Group Coaching
This is where we work with the real stuff.
The busy week. The disrupted sleep. The missed workout. The dinner out. The voice that says, I'll start again Monday.
You'll have opportunities to bring your questions, obstacles, wins, and struggles to coaching so you can learn how to adjust without abandoning yourself or the things that matter to you.
Group Coaching calls are on Tuesday, September 22, 2026 from 12-1 PM MT, and Tuesday, September 29, 2026 from 4-5 PM MT. Replays will be available if you can not make it live.
-
Companion Guide
You'll also receive a simple guide to help you assess your current foundation, establish your personal commitments, anticipate obstacles, and track what you're learning along the way.

Grace & Grit Podcast Daily Drops
Throughout Base Camp, the Grace & Grit Daily Drop podcasts will be intentionally curated to align with the work you’re doing inside the challenge.
Think of them as short, on-the-go doses of coaching and inspiration to help you deepen your understanding, strengthen your self-leadership, and fortify the practices you’re working to build.
You don’t need more information to get traction.
There will always be another diet.
Another supplement.
Another workout method.
Another wearable.
Another expert telling you there's a better way to optimize your health.
Some of those things can absolutely be useful.
But after years of conversations with brilliant people doing incredible work in health and wellness, I remain convinced of this:
The basics work.
And, maybe the next level of your health doesn't require another strategy.
Maybe it requires a deeper devotion to the things you already know make your life better.
That's what Base Camp is about.
This September, let's return to the foundation.
Let's get clear about what your body and your life need from you.
And let's practice becoming the kind of woman who knows how to honor what matters.
Welcome to Base Camp.
