It doesn’t matter why you think you can’t.

You absolutely CAN.

This is not just health coaching—it’s a personalized road map to the prime of your life.

It’s coaching that will make today feel like the best days of your life are ahead of you, no matter where you’re at right now.

Let's get to work.

Most women in midlife don’t have a focus problem. Most women in midlife don’t have a focus problem. They have a nervous system problem. And I don't mean that as another thing to fix.

I mean that we are living in a world that is extraordinarily good at offering tiny doses of relief every time we feel bored, uncomfortable, overwhelmed, lonely, or simply asked to sit still with ourselves.

So of course we reach.

That doesn't mean we are broken. But it does mean there may be something worth getting curious about beneath the behavior.

I wrote about this in a Substack essay earlier this year. If you've been wondering why focus feels harder than it used to, this one might be worth a read.

What if appreciating your body actually gave you a What if appreciating your body actually gave you a stronger reason to take care of it?

When we spend our days cataloging everything our bodies are doing wrong, how they’ve changed, where they hurt, what they weigh, or how they’re failing to perform the way we want, taking care of them can start to feel like punishment or correction.

But what happens when you start paying attention to all the ways your body is supporting you?

The legs that carry you through your day.

The lungs that breathe without being asked.

The heart that keeps beating.

The arms that hug the people you love.

The body that allows you to work, play, create, connect, experience and LIVE.

That creates a very different reason to care for yourself.

Take care of your body not because it’s broken, but because of everything it makes possible.

This was the conversation inside today’s Live the Code Live on Substack.

If you want to join me for these deeper conversations about health, self-leadership and living well, come join us over on Substack. ❤️

A hiding habit is anything you do regularly to hid A hiding habit is anything you do regularly to hide from the truth of your life rather than face it.

Things like consuming more information because taking action means risking failure. Avoiding looking at data so you don’t have to face the truth of your life. Staying so focused on everyone else's problems that you never have to look at your own. Staying busy because stillness means sitting with things you'd rather not face.

Here's the thing about hiding habits: they feel completely reasonable. Responsible, even. Which is exactly what makes them so effective at keeping you stuck.

I am not pointing any fingers here, by the way. I have indulged in every single hiding habit I've ever named. The question isn't whether you have them. It's whether you're willing to see them, because you can't fix what you won't face.

The Consistency Code is about helping you face it — with compassion, not judgment. Read the first chapter for free in the link in bio. 🤍
The problem is not that you missed one workout, it The problem is not that you missed one workout, it’s what you’re making it mean.

One day turns into “I’m off track.”
Then a few days become “I’ll start again Monday.”
And before you know it, weeks have gone by.

There’s a reason this pattern can become so sticky. And once you understand what’s actually happening in your brain, you can start responding differently when you fall off.

You don’t need more guilt or more discipline. You need a better way to come back.

Listen to the full episode to understand why one missed workout can turn into weeks — and what you can do differently to break this cycle.

I received this message recently, and I haven't st I received this message recently, and I haven't stopped thinking about it.

Not because a man listens to a podcast I created primarily for midlife women. 😂

But because of what he noticed happening in his wife.

She became kinder to herself.
Less consumed by comparison.
More protective of her energy.
More available for the people she loves.

And their marriage got stronger because of it.

This is the ripple effect of deep health.

The work we do on the relationship we have with ourselves never ends with us.

It changes the way we show up for our relationships, our families, our communities—and our lives.

THIS is why I do this work.
Helping care for my dad has changed the way I thin Helping care for my dad has changed the way I think about health in ways no textbook or training certification ever could.

It has given me a front-row seat to what happens when we spend decades managing disease instead of protecting health.

Aging by design isn't a guarantee. It doesn't promise you'll never get sick or never face something hard.

It is a decision to stop leaving the trajectory of your health to complete chance. To stop taking your health for granted while you still have it to protect.

I wrote this letter in May, and it’s one of the most personal letters I've ever written. If you're in midlife, I hope you'll read it.

You’ll find it on my Substack. The link is in my bio.
