Respecting Your Willpower Muscle
The Oxford Dictionary defines willpower as: control exerted to do something or restrain impulses.
Willpower is definitely a useful resource to have on hand
If you want to change behavior in ANY arena, you have to respect that willpower (like time and energy) is a limited resource.
You only get so much of it each day.
Many of the women I work with are choosing to believe that something is wrong with them because they can’t follow through with the promises they make to themselves, which so unnecessary.
One of the BIG reasons they struggle to follow through is because they aren’t optimizing the use of their willpower resource:)
