I have worked with a lot of women over the years who had the very best intentions to show up for themselves, but when it came time for the actual showing up part? Well…
Breaking promises you make to yourself can become a habit.
The good news? Habits can be changed.
If you are currently in the habit of negotiating your way out of the work you have called yourself to do, this podcast episode is for you.Listen Now!
Today’s episode of the Grace & Grit Podcast marks the 300th episode of the show. 300 episodes!!! And what a journey it has been.
To celebrate this milestone (and because our theme of late has been “consistency”), I wanted to share with you 10 of the biggest lessons I have learned from producing 300 episodes of the show. These lessons are applicable to any area of your life that you are trying to show up more regularly in.
Thank you, dear listener, for helping me make it this far! Enjoy.Listen Now!
Ever notice that you consistently show up for the things you care about?
How about yourself? How consistently do you show up for yourself?
If you laughed and rolled your eyes at that last question because YOU are the very thing you keep sacrificing for all those other things you care about, this podcast episode is for you.Listen Now!
In this final episode of the theme “Ready, Set, Grow” on the Grace & Grit Podcast, I talk about a few of the biggest obstacles standing in the way of women showing up for themselves to “do the work” required to improve their health story. I also provide some suggestions for how to conquer each one.
These are the specific obstacles I address:
#1 Not believing that it is possible to improve health.
#2 Chasing results rather than looking for ways to fall in love with the work.
#3 Making a habit out of negotiating and rationalizing.
#4 Quitting because results are showing up “fast enough”.
If you have ever found yourself challenged by any one or ALL of the above obstacles…have a listen to this episode.Listen Now!
